1. Introduction
   ⁠
   1. This Competition is organised by Dr. Oetker South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“the Promoter”).
   2. By entering, participants agree to these Terms & Conditions, which are available on the Dr. Oetker competitions page at: https://www.oetker.co.za/competitions-promotions
   3. The competition runs from 10 March 2025 until midnight on 31 August 2025. No late entries will be accepted.
   4. The competition is open to residents of the Republic of South Africa and Namibia aged 18 years or older, who comply with these Terms & Conditions and who have not won a prize through a competition organized by the Promoter or its affiliates in the last 12 months. Directors, members, partners, agents or employees of Dr. Oetker, any Dr. Oetker holding companies and subsidiaries, their advertising and promotions agencies, consultants, and their immediate families, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Dr. Oetker are not eligible to enter.
2. Prize Details
   ⁠
   1. The grand prize is a trip to Abu Dhabi for four people, valued at R250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand Rands) (“Prize”).
   2. If the Abu Dhabi trip is unavailable, an alternative destination of equal value will be offered. The travel partner will consult with the winner before finalising the replacement.
   3. The Prize excludes costs such as visa applications, travel insurance, and personal expenses.
   4. In addition to the Prize there will be weekly draws for Dr.Oetker & DC hampers (“Hampers”).
3. How to Enter
   ⁠
   1. How to Enter for a Chance to Win the grand Prize:
      ⁠
      ⁠Step 1: Buy any eligible product from the Dr. Oetker Ital Pizza Snack Slices range, Dr. Oetker Ital Pizza Minis range and Dr. Oetker Ital Pizza Donuts range with the DC characters on the package (“Participating Products”) during the competition period. The eligible products are:
      
      
      ⁠Step 2: Find the DC Super Hero collectible card inside the pack. This card contains your unique entry code.
      ⁠
      ⁠Step 3: Scan the QR code on the pack and follow the WhatsApp prompts.
      ⁠
      ⁠Step 4: Enter the unique code when prompted.
      ⁠
   2. How to Enter for a Chance to Win a Weekly Hamper:
      1. Post a picture of yourself enjoying any Dr. Oetker Ital Pizza Donuts, Minis, or Slices from the Participating Products range. The Participating Product must be clearly visible in your post.
      2. Tell us why you think this is a superhero snack in your caption
      3. Tag Dr. Oetker South Africa in your post using:

         ⁠
      4. Your profile must be public for the duration of the competition for your entry to be valid.
      5. Winners will be selected via random draw from valid entries received each week.

         ⁠Important Notes:
         ⁠
         ⁠- Standard data rates apply for WhatsApp entries.
         ⁠- Each unique code can only be used once.
         ⁠- You can enter multiple times with separate qualifying purchases.
         ⁠- Participants must enter the Competition on a mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop that is owned and registered by that person. No person can use another person’s mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop for Competition entry purposes. This rule has been implemented to avoid fraud and possible litigation between the mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop owner and the Participant.
         ⁠- Should the Promoter suspect any fraudulent activity the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify the Participants from the Competition. Fraudulent activity includes fake receipts, tampered QR codes, using automated systems to enter the Competition, and supplying any false information.
4. Winner Selection & Notification
   ⁠
   1. Each week, a winner will be selected to receive a Hamper who will be contacted via direct message on the account used to enter.
   2. The weekly winner will be asked to provide an address at which to accept delivery of the Hamper.
   3. For the grand Prize; a random audited draw will take place within three weeks after the competition closes to select a winner of the Prize.
   4. To claim the grand Prize, the winner must provide, within three business days of notification:

      ⁠- Proof of identification
      ⁠- Proof of purchase of the Participating Product or the DC card with the unique code used to enter into the competition
      ⁠- A valid South African or Namibian passport with at least 6 months remaining
      ⁠
   5. The winner must accept the Prize or the Hamper within one week from the date of notification.
   6. If a winner fails to meet the requirements or cannot be reached after three attempts, the Promoter reserve the right to replace them with an alternative Participant.
5. General Terms
   ⁠
   1. The Promoter's decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
   2. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another person.
   3. The Promoter is not responsible for entries lost due to technical failures or network issues.
6. Data Protection & Privacy
   ⁠
   1. The Promoter collects and processes personal information solely for competition administration.
   2. By entering this Competition, all entrants authorise Dr Oetker, the Promoter, to collect, store and use (not share) the personal information of entrants for communication or statistical purposes.
   3. The Promoter will not share participant data with third parties, except where necessary to fulfil the prize or required by law. By accessing any Prizes, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by participating in this Competition you consent to us sharing your data with our reward partners and affiliates for purposes relating to the operation of the Competition, including (without limitation) fulfilling of rewards issued to Participants. “Affiliates” means, any entity controlling, controlled by or under common control with the Promoter and suppliers for purposes of this Competition.
   4. All personal information will be kept in a secure password-protected file for 3 years and will be destroyed after this time period has lapsed.
   5. In line with POPIA, participants have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data by contacting contact@oetker.co.za.
7. Marketing Communications
   ⁠
   1. The winner or Participants may be requested to take part in publicity for broadcast or publishing purposes, which is conditional upon their agreement to take part in such publicity. Winners or Participants who take part in any publicity will not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the Promoter.
   2. If a Participant opts in for marketing, they agree to receive promotional communications from Dr. Oetker, including information about Dr. Oetker’s products, services and future promotions.
   3. Participants can unsubscribe at any time by replying "STOP" to messages or using the "Unsubscribe" link where applicable.
8. Disclaimer
   ⁠
   1. The Promoter does not guarantee that every participating product will contain a DC Super Hero collectible card. While every effort has been made to include collectible cards in promotional packs, there may be instances where a pack does not contain a card due to manufacturing or packaging variances.
   2. No compensation, replacement, or alternative entry method will be provided for products that do not contain a card. Entries will only be accepted if a valid unique code from a collectible card is submitted.
   3. Customers who wish to report missing cards may contact the Promoter at contact@oetker.co.za.
   4. By participating in the Competition, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Warner Bros. Discovery and its related companies, and its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Competition or receipt or use of any prize.
   5. This Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok. By entering, participants release these platforms from any responsibility related to the competition.
9. Game Overview
   1. Each player gets a deck of equal number of cards (total of 10 cards to collect). Players take turns choosing a stat to compare, and the player with the higher stat in that round wins the opponent's card. The first player to collect all the cards or win the most rounds is the winner.

      ⁠- Player 1 plays Superman and picks Powers (100).
      ⁠- Player 2 plays The Flash with Powers (56). Player 1 wins the round and takes The Flash's card.

      Play continues until one player has all the cards, or a pre-agreed number of rounds are played.
