Terms and Conditions

The Dr. Oetker Ital Pizza Greek Style Range- Win a Trip to Greece 2024 (“the
Competition”) is organised and run by Dr Oetker South Africa (Pty) Ltd (“the
Promoter”).
The Competition commences on 17 June 2024 and runs until Midnight on 17
September 2024. No entries received after 17 September 2024 midnight, will be
considered.
By entering the Competition, entrants agree to the Terms and Conditions of the
Competition that are set out below. A copy of the Terms and Conditions for this
Competition is available on the Dr. Oetker competitions page on the Dr. Oetker website
and can be viewed at the following site: https://www.oetker.co.za/competitions-promotions
This Competition is limited to all residents of the Republic of South Africa who
are aged 18 years and older, and who comply with these Competition rules (“Participants”),
except directors, members, partners, agents or employees of Dr. Oetker, any Dr.
Oetker holding companies and subsidiaries, their advertising and promotions
agencies, consultants, and their immediate families, or any other person who
directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Dr. Oetker.
The Competition may be entered by purchasing any 2 of the Dr. Oetker Ital Pizza
Greek Style Range product variants; Dr. Oetker Ital Pizza Familia Chicken Souvlaki
and Dr. Oetker Ital Pizza Familia Spinach, Olive & Feta (“Participating
Products”) from any participating outlet and following the Competition participation
requirements (“Competition Rules”) that are set out in clause 6 below.
Competition Rules:
1. To participate in the Competition, Participants are required to buy any 2 of the Participating Products, scan the QR code on the point of sale, or social media or send a
  WhatsApp to 0872405550, upload a clear copy of their valid till slip and follow
  the prompts to completion to be considered a valid entry.
2. Data rates apply for entry into the competition.
3. Only valid till slips will be accepted as entry into the competition. A valid till
  slip needs to clearly show the store name and date as well as show the purchase
  of the required participating products (5. Participating Products). A
  till slip may only be used once for each entry into the competition. Till slips
  must be dated within the promotional dates of the competition.
4. Shoprite Checkers shoppers are automatically entered into the competition after
  they swipe their Checkers Xtra Savings card as per the below:
  1. Purchase any 2 (two) x Pizzas from the new Dr Oetker Ital Pizza Greek style Range from any Checkers nationwide in South Africa and swipe their Checkers Xtra Savings
    card to enter; or
  2. Purchase any 2 (two) x Pizzas from the new Dr Oetker Ital Pizza Greek style Range via
    the Checkers Sixty60 app and ensure their Xtra Savings profile is linked.
  3. Participants must keep their till slip as proof of purchase or their invoice for purchases via the Sixty60 purchases.
5. Participants stand a chance to win 1 (One) Trip to Greece for 2 valued at R100 000 (one
  hundred thousand rand) (“prize”), or a travel voucher worth R100 000
  (one hundred thousand rand).
6. The final grand prize draw for the Win a Trip to Greece Competition will take place
  within one week of the closing date of the competition from all entries
  received and will consist of an audited random draw process.
7. All Finalists for the grand prizes will be notified by telephone within two weeks
  of the draw taking place.
8. Should the finalists not be contactable after 3 reasonable attempts, the Competition
  organisers reserve the right to replace this finalist with an alternative
  Participant.
9. In order to be confirmed as a winner, finalists will be required to provide proof
  of identification, proof of purchase of the Promotional Products as well as proof
  of a valid South African Passport with more than 6 months remaining and shall
  be subject to the requirements listed in 6.10 below.
10. Participants may enter the Competition as many times as they wish over the Promotional
  Period provided, they purchase the required products outlined in 5 and 6.4.
  above. Participants who have won with Dr. Oetker within the last 183 days, or are
  living at the same address as a previous winner, will not be permitted to win a
  prize in this competition.
11. Should the Promoter suspect any fraudulent activity the Promoter reserves the right to
  disqualify the Participants from the Competition.
Prize
1. The Finalist will be randomly selected, 1 week after the Campaign Period of
  midnight 24 September 2024, and notified via email or telephone. The prize must
  be claimed within at least 2 (two) weeks from date of notification, and the
  winner must possess a valid SA Passport with more than 6 months remaining.
2. The Finalist has 3 working days to provide the required documents otherwise they
  will forfeit their prize and the promoter will move on to the next finalist.
3. Should the finalist not satisfy any of the entry requirements, they will be
  disqualified and another finalist will be selected in their place.
4. The prize will be, 1 (one) Trip to Greece for 2 valued at R100 000 (one
  hundred thousand rand) (“prize”), or a travel voucher worth R100 000
  (one hundred thousand rand).
The winner selection is final, and no correspondence will be entered.
Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for cash or for any other goods or
services.
Participants must enter the Competition on a mobile phone, PC, iPad or laptop that is owned and registered by that person. No person can use another person’s mobile phone,
PC, iPad or laptop for Competition entry purposes. This rule has been
implemented in order to avoid fraud and possible litigation between the mobile
phone, PC, iPad or laptop owner and the Competition entrant.
Dr. Oetker will not accept liability for entries that were not received due to any
technical or service provider error or failure.
By entering this Competition, all entrants authorise Dr Oetker, the Promoter, to
collect, store and use (not share) personal information of entrants for
communication or statistical purposes.
The winner or Participants may be requested to take part in publicity for broadcast
or publishing purposes, which is conditional upon their agreement to take part
in such publicity. Winners or Participants who take part in any publicity will
not be entitled to any payment or other remuneration for such publicity or
otherwise. All publicity and other materials will be the sole property of the
Promoter.
By participating in this competition, all participants acknowledge that they will
be required to provide personal information if selected as a finalist which is
for the sole purpose of verifying information in order to award the prize/s and
acknowledge that the information will be solely processed for the purposes of
this promotion only. In line with the POPIA act, all personal information will
be kept in a secure password protected file for a period of 3 years in
accordance with the Consumer Protection Act and will be destroyed after this
time period has lapsed. Your privacy is important to us and we undertake to not
use or share your personal information with any other party unless for purposes
of delivery of your prize or if requested by authorities to do so.
By accessing any Prizes, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and
by participating in this Competition you consent to us sharing your personal
data with our reward partners and affiliates for purposes relating to the operation
of the Competition, including (without limitation) fulfilling of rewards issued
to Participants. “Affiliates” means, any entity controlling, controlled by or under common
control with the Promoter and suppliers for purposes of this Competition.
By selecting the “Opt-in” option for marketing, you consent to your details being stored by
Dr. Oetker and used in the future to send you information about Dr. Oetker’s
products, services and future promotions. Should you wish to “Opt -out” of this
communication in future, you can do so by replying “Stop” to any message or
email received from the Promoters or contacting them using the details made
available in these terms and conditions or clicking on the “Unsubscribe” or “Opt-out”
link, where applicable.
